Cover art of Che's Afterlife by Michael Casey
Not only are we Che Spotters, we are also trend spotters.
This book, Che’s Afterlife, was just released two weeks ago. It’s all about how Che’s image has transcended borders, languages, politics and generations to become one of the most recognizable images in the world, which pretty much sounds exactly like what we wrote on our FAQs page.
Che’s Afterlife was written by a man named Michael Casey. Obviously, he is our kind of man. Even before I read his bio and found out he’d lived in Buenos Aires (just like me), I knew he was someone I hoped to track down. (We’ll see if we can’t get a Q and A with him posted right here on Che Spotting!)
Yesterday, the New York Times published a positive review of Che’s Afterlife, but even without a nice NYT piece, we’d still would be putting on our reading list. If it’s got “Che” in the title, we’re all over it.
After checking out Mr. Casey’s web site, I’m very impressed by his page of Che Spottings, which includes an image of Che on a condom wrapper.
Nice! We always suspected Che of being a womanizer.

Well, I’m here and ready for the Q&A. Great site. Great idea! (Similar to one my agent had but we couldn’t execute for various reasons. So hats off to you guys for getting it going. )
So, if I’m your kind of man, you are my kind of people.
Bring on the questions!
Thanks for stopping by, Michael. Give us a few days to read up on Che Spotting and we’re all over that author Q and A.
Got a Che Spotting for us? Come on, share?
