Caught a glimpse of Legally Blonde 2 on television and had to do a Che spotting double take.

Elle, the perky, blonde, sorority-girl, law student was trying to get some doggie-related legislation passed on Capitol Hill.

Always perfectly accessorized, she donned her political activist hat — which was literally a pink Che-style beret — for her demonstration.

Even her Chihuahua, Bruiser, was wearing a matching, mini pink beret for their Million Dog March in Washington.

I didn’t stick around to watch the whole thing. But I seem to recall that the movie has a happy ending for both Elle and Bruiser. Couldn’t help but wonder, though, what Che would think of it all.
